Everything about Santorini
Santorini is a cosmopolitan island with active and interesting nightlife. The entertainment options are many, starting with cafes, taverns and restaurants in the evening, but when the night comes, the famous Santorini nighlife takes place. There are so many and so diverse bars and clubs, that can cover all tastes and all ages. Fira is the centre of nightlife in the island, with the most bars and clubs around the main square of the town, which are packed until the sun comes up. The dance here is frenzy under the sounds of dance music chosen by known DJs and the shots are generously served creating an atmosphere of fun and entertainment. Both Greek and international A-list celebrities are often sighted here.
Apart from the crowded clubs, in Fira you can find atmospheric and romantic bars and cafes with selected music (jazz, classic, soul, funk and blues), perfect for enjoying a quiet drink or a coffee, overlooking the Caldera and the famous sunset.
Fira is the town where most of the events are happening, such as the international music festival of Santorini which is organized every year in the beginning of September. The festival holds music concerts by famous artists from all over the world.
Oia, Perissa, Perivolos and Kamari also have a very active nightlife, offering all kinds of music. Kamari Perivolos and Perissa beaches have lots of popular beach bars and clubs with a young, heavy-drinking crowd. In Oia, you will find beautiful cliff side bars and restaurants quiet and sophisticated to stop in for a drink or a meal and escape from the tourists.
